Show Me Your Lifestream

Tonight I was playing around with my shiny new blog and I decided to try to aggregate my Twitter and Facebook status updates into the blog in some way, shape, or form. It’s not that I think that everyone needs this much information on my activities, but let’s face it: I am a hopeless ego maniac who enjoys reading whatever I write, over and over again.
I came across a plugin for Wordpress called Lifestream, which basically acts like your social network feed page (like the Wall in Facebook). It can grab the info from all of your social networks and display them in one shot. There are some options for grouping items by day, labeling the items with the source, labeling the source itself, etc. The plugin page says it works with Wordpress up to version 2.6, and I am now running 2.7. Since it seemed like the perfect solution for me, I decided to give it a shot.
Much to my relief, it worked as advertised. No issues with the latest version, and I must say the breadth of available feed parsers is impressive. There are many options for displaying your Lifestream on your site as well.
All in all, I give it 5 stars. To show you a sample, here is my current Lifestream from Facebook and Twitter below. Enjoy!
